Nachtzug is the bag for the leg of the trip that is not the adventure: the sleeper, the airport, the walk from the station at six in the morning. 22 litres of recycled 420D nylon, a flat back so it sits square against a seat, and a lay-flat main compartment that opens like a clamshell so security never asks you to unpack it. There is a zipped pocket on the strap for a passport and a pass-through sleeve for a roller handle. At 40 x 30 x 20 cm it fits the personal-item allowance of every carrier we have flown it on.
