Description
72% merino, 26% nylon and 2% elastane — the nylon is there because a pure-wool sock does not survive a heel, whatever anyone tells you. Terry cushioning under the foot and across the toe box, a flat toe seam, and a ribbed cuff that holds without leaving a mark. Knitted in Portugal in runs of five hundred pairs, which is why the patterns change once a year and then never come back. Sold as a single pair; most people buy three.
