Everything is packed and sent from our own workshop in Leipzig. There is no third-party fulfilment, which is why we can tell you exactly where an order is.

## When it leaves us

Orders placed before 13:00 CET on a working day go out the same afternoon. Anything after that, or at a weekend, goes the next working day. We do not ship on German public holidays, and the one week a year the workshop closes is announced on this page a month ahead.

## Duties and taxes

EU prices include German VAT at 19%. Orders to the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the rest of the world are sent excluding VAT, and the carrier will collect import duty and local tax before delivery. We cannot estimate that figure for you and we do not mark parcels as gifts.

## Tracking

Every parcel is tracked. The tracking number reaches you by email the moment the label is scanned, not when it is printed — so if you have the number, the parcel is genuinely on its way. If tracking has not moved for four working days, write to us and we will chase the carrier rather than asking you to.

## If something goes missing

We treat a parcel as lost after 10 working days domestically and 30 internationally, and we replace it at our cost without asking you to open a claim with the carrier. That is our problem, not yours.
