# Terms

**Fernweh Supply Co. is an invented brand, created to demonstrate a working online shop.** No goods are really dispatched, no payment is really taken, and no contract of sale is formed by anything you do here. These terms are written as a real shop's terms would be, because a demo with lorem ipsum in it teaches nobody anything.

## Prices

Prices are in euro and include German VAT at 19% for orders inside the EU. Orders outside the EU are charged without VAT and are subject to import duty in the destination country. We may change a price at any time, but never after an order is placed.

## Orders

An order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation, not when the order confirmation lands — so if something sells out between the two, we cancel and refund in full rather than making you wait. Stock figures on a product page are live to within a minute.

## Availability

Everything on this site is made in batches. When a batch runs out, the product page says so and gives the date the next one is expected; that date is our honest estimate and it slips sometimes. We do not take payment for a backorder until the batch is in the building.

## Liability

We are liable for the goods being as described and fit for their purpose, and for anything the law does not permit us to limit. We are not liable for a trip that went badly. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

## Governing law

German law, with the courts of Leipzig having jurisdiction, and without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
