Description
250 gsm interlock merino in a waffle knit, spun and knitted at one mill outside Biella from non-mulesed Australian wool. It is the weight we settled on after three winters of arguing: heavy enough to wear alone at 5 °C, light enough that it does not sulk under a shell. The body is cut long at the back so it stays put under a pack hip belt, and the cuffs are ribbed 4 cm deep so they still grip after a season. Wash it cold, dry it flat, and it will hold its shape for years.
